If you want to get married, you have to be able to take care of your wife financially and eventually a family.
If she has a job, income - great! However, your litmus check should go something like this. If she lost her job, would I be able to sustain this marriage financially? Ignore her income, can you pay the bills?
Core desires - Women want safety, to feel safe and secure. You act your worse when you feel… UNSAFE. Emotionally, spiritually and financially. Marriage will challenge you, do not add financial stress.
Do whatever it takes.

Therapy

Your greatest conflict in marriage will be your single problems from childhood, teenage years and adult years.
No more “I am fine, it happened.. It’s in the past, it wasn’t that big of a deal.” That will be the kryptonite of your marriage.
Don’t wait for something to become an external problem for us to start healing the internal problems we know we can sense, we feel, we know lurk in the iceburg.

Fellowship and Mission

Listen my brothers, if you don’t have it yet, the rich fellowship, the clear north star that you are marching towards. Your woman, your future wife will not submit nor respect you if you have do not have a mission.
Don’t wait for somebody to bother you into your mission.

Character

How do you argue when nobody is looking?
How are you following up your word, commitment?
How do you honor family, Godly friends?
How do you submit yourself to authority? Mentors? Pastors? How do you respond INTERNALLY in your mind when nobody can read your mind??
Is your character GODLY character that you could never manufacture? Godly character that you can boast in? Because whatever is soft and squishy, whatever is undisciplined in the Lord, will surface it will be exposed.
Fully SUBMITTED to Christ and PARTAKING in fellowship at the table AND never leave the table.
