To clarify, I think we all are on the same page here.. With divorce at 50% in the CHURCH, there is no reason to accelerate the timeline here unless you are 100% on board with the decision! - JJ
You have NEVER heard anybody say “I really regret dating her and making sure that it was the right decision.. It took me 3 months too long”

For me there was a BIG difference between continuing to be in the relationship and building towards marriage vs. the decision to MARRY her.. - JJ

There has to be excitement
BUT this doesn’t fully relate to just physical attraction. It’s SO much more. It’s depth, safety, and trust. Emotional and spiritual connection.

A deep desire to work through things NO MATTER WHAT

Sometimes your FAMILY is NOT your wise counsel - and that is OKAY

Just because you have been with them for so long
Because you are scared there is NO ONE else close to them, even WITH their flaws – scarcity
You can FIX them - (e.g. you are equipped via YOUR TRAUMA to fix them)
